This camp is designed for all levels of endurance and multisport athletes seeking to improve
race performance at Ironman Canada, including nutrition and execution strategies. Camp is
based out of a well-known resort in Penticton, British Columbia (http://www.pentictonramada.com)
Features of the camp include:
*Course preview talk/overview with USAT/USAC Level 2 coach, Colleen Sullivan with
4x IMC experience. Discussion to include optimal race nutrition, what to expect on
the course, preparing for race day, and answers to your specific questions.
*Fully supported IM Canada course ride with “aid stations” and special needs bag.
*Transition run following full course ride, with bike drop off and transition.
*Post ride overview/debrief with Q&A.
*IM LONG swim (in Lake Okanagan), overview of course and location of transitions.
*IM LONG run (on out and back portion of run course) fully supported
Camp will be limited to 30 athletes.
Coach Colleen has personal experience as an IM Canada athlete and is knowledgeable
in exercise science, injury prevention and management.
Camp fee includes: Above outlined swim/bike/run workouts with Powerbar nutrition,
course overview/discussion, discounted rate at Ramada Penticton, opportunity to “test”
your race strategy and perfect your nutrition.
Fee of $159 through January 31, 2012. February 1, Fee is $199.
